Theatrus T65W In-Wall Speaker | 3-Way Dual 6.5" Woofers The T65W In-Wall Speaker represents a premier high-SPL cinema speaker designed for in-wall installation, demonstrating exceptional performance in both small and large home theaters, professional recording studios, and commercial environments. Its meticulous design and outstanding technical features yield superior sound quality while facilitating straightforward installation. The enclosure is constructed from hardened steel, providing the speaker with a sleek, modern aesthetic, which remains appealing whether the magnetic grille is utilized or removed for a more understated look. The Aperion Theatrus T65W In-Wall speaker has been designed and engineered with the same high expectations as the other Theatrus models for easy-installation, leaving no space for compromise on sound or build quality. Its hardened steel baffle maintains a clean look if you prefer no grilles, or leave the grilles on for a stealth-like look throughout your home theater. The T65W In-Wall Speaker is a 3-Way design, featuring an array of five (5) drivers, which fuses into a super force of sound quality that is designed for a wide use case. It's not all about sound though, the speaker has a clean and smooth appearance. The Aperion crafted AMT Ribbon Tweeter, and Dual 2-inch Soft-Dome Mid-Range Drivers are housed in a custom designed aluminum faceplate. Enhanced low end is produced by Dual 6.5" Woofers which were crafted from German Propex Fabrics Curv material. The T65W In-Wall Speaker offers higher sound pressure levels, suitable for larger listening environments. High-Efficiency plus High-Power makes for an explosively wide sound field. Theatrus speakers are extremely flexible for placement for even the most difficult of rooms. Placed In-Wall, the Theatrus line can effectively cover most of the listening area. The speakers can be arranged vertically or horizontally, dependent on the application. To ensure the tweeter's safety while operating at higher sound pressure levels, we have included a protection circuit. Dual 2" Soft-dome Midrange Driver Our high end soft-dome midrange unit features a large, low distortion 50mm voice coil, which exceeds the normal size of this type of drive unit. It's wide pole structure and special damping coating significantly reduce the medium frequency segmentation vibration. Dual 6.5" Curv Woofers The Theatrus line features a new Curv material from Germany Propex Fabrics. The properties of this new Curv material are lightweight, yet rigid and stiff, maintain a high temperature resistance without any water absorption, and the most important in crating a driver unit - this material has a high Young's Modulus and internal damping. Advanced Crossover Time-intensive iterative designing and fine-tuning of the crossover networks have resulted in a smoother, more neutral, and better-balanced frequency response across the whole range. Enhanced phase integration between the tweeter and midrange drivers has also resulted in a cleaner, more open sound in the transition regions. The speakers of Theatrus Cinema Studio are crafted using high-quality custom components. These include Aperion's premium metallized polypropylene capacitors, copper wire inductors, and precision wirewound resistors. Together, these components create an exceptional audio experience that combines both beauty and enjoyment.
